- The 1969 Camaro is a classic collector's car. The 1998 version is a more modern version of the muscle car with plenty of power. - The 1969 Camaro came with a variety of engines, including six- and eight-cylinder versions. The Z28 sports package came with a 307 cubic-inch V-8 with 200 horsepower and 300 foot-pounds of torque. The car had a three- or four-speed manual transmission. The 1969 model weighed 3,295 pounds and sold new for $2,925.
- The 1998 Camaro developed over 30 years, but it's one of the few cars that kept its original identity the entire time. The Z28 had a 346 cubic-inch V-8 that produced 308 horsepower and 335 foot-pounds of torque. The car had either a six-speed manual transmission or four-speed automatic. The 1998 Camaro sold new for just more than $20,000 and weighed 3,434 pounds.
