How to Replace a 2003 Pontiac Montana Horn
- 1). Locate the stock horn while operating under the hood. The stock horn is a circular piece mounted to the inside of your car's grill. You'll see that it's screwed in place against a bracket with a set of wires plugged in. These wires provide power to the horn.
- 2). Unscrew the stock horn from the grill's interior, being careful not to lose sight of the screws. Set them aside so they can be used for the new horn.
- 3). Unplug the wires from the horn's socket and pull the stock horn from your vehicle.
- 4). Press the new horn against the bracket and screw it into place using the same screws you pulled from the stock horn, screwing them hard to the right.
- 5). Plug the wire set into the socket of the new horn. Close the hood of your vehicle and dispose of the stock horn.
