As far back as I can remember, I could always count on Georgie Porgie to provide a yearly anthem to lift the spirits of many simply by singing what truly comes from his heart. In 2000, he proved that no matter what happens that "Life Goes On." In 2001 following the tragedy of September 11th, he paraded on Columbus Day in New York City to prove that no matter what horror befalls on us that "Love Is Gonna Save The Day," a song that carried everyone well into the 2002 year as well.
In 2003 came another anthem called "I Love I Love" singing about the way we made him feel. But actually, it was the way he made us feel. Message after message, feeling after feeling, Georgie breaks it down to the bare essential with "Be Happy." Yep! That's it! Just Be Happy. It's just that simple. Be Happy with what you do and Be Happy with what you say.
Out of all the anthems that Georgie has put out in the 21st Century, this has got to be the most encouraging, most inspirational, most uplifting, free-spirited single of them all. And if that doesn't make you Happy already, than the Remix Line-Up will put such a smile on your face you're gonna need plastic surgery to remove it. This single has currently released Part 1 which includes Georgie's Club Anthem, which is the standard, Tony Cano's Mr. Hapyp's Mix. A wild Remix by Teri Bristol and Todd Minor under the T&T's Tribal Mix. This mix just totally blew me away. Very nicely done. Rounding out this first batch of Remixes is from up-and-comer Chris Brophy with his Infect'ive Remix who delivers a knockout of a remix.
If you listen closely, his keys are very similar to Junior Jack's "My Feelings." If that isn't enough to make your mouth water, don't worry. There will be a CD single and a second batch of Remixes in the near future with some more tricks and treats. So do what you wanna do and Be Happy. Have a Nice Day!!
