Tables

• Set up folding tables at the party location. Cover each one with a green tablecloth to mimic the felt tables of casinos and then place a setting card so guests know which game will be played at each table. Blackjack and Texas Hold 'Em are popular card games but don't forget to set up a roulette wheel and a craps table as well. Ask friends and family to volunteer as dealers and buy some poker chips before the big night.
  
  

Decorations

• Use streamers and balloons in red, white and black to decorate the inside and outside of the location. Inside, use cardboard cutouts of poker chips, dice and card suits to set the mood.
  
  

Food

• Celebrate the tradition of Las Vegas with an all-you-can-eat buffet spread. Set up a long table and adorn it with appetizers, such as mini quiches, meatballs with dipping sauces, cocktail weenies and sliced fruit. For an impressive centerpiece, try a chocolate fountain.
