Several wineries are located an hour north of Atlanta in the Dahlonega area. The oldest winery in the Dahlonega area is Three Sisters Vineyards. The winery is open all year except the month of January. Their selections include Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Pinot Blanc. They also offer port and dessert wines. Tastings are offered Thursday-Sunday from noon -5pm. Estate wine tastings are $10 per person and Reserve wine tastings are $20 per person. A winemaker's tour and tasting is available for $30 per person on weekends at 2pm. The Vineyard Caf© offers gourmet food and Sunday brunch. Reservations are required for the Caf©. Wolf Mountain is located five miles north of Dahlonega at 180 Wolf Mountain Trail.

The winery is open daily from 10am-6pm on Monday-Saturday and from 12:30pm-6pm on Sunday.
