Why Satellite Internet Reigns Over the Competition.

If you are in need of a high-speed Internet service provider, look to further that satellite Internet. Far too many people fall for the catchy advertisements that the DSL and cable companies put out, and fail to read between the lines to discover the deception that lies behind them.

First of all, DSL service is fast becoming a thing of the past. Currently, DSL does not even remotely provide service for everyone in America, let alone the entire world. DSL is only available to people whose houses are hooked up to special telephone wires that are also outfitted with a certain cooper wire. What's more, the cooper wire isn't even outfitted to these homes by request of the residents. This special cooper wire is only made available to homes at the request of the city government. So if the city government decides that is doesn't want to spend the money to incorporate the wires into their existing phone wires then the city will not get DSL service. Unfortunately for those who read and heard all about the great features and high speed connections DSL can offer, DSL service is very limited. And not only is it limited within the country, but its also limited within the cities that DSL actually does provide service to. For houses that are next door to each other, one could be DSL equipped and one could be without the proper cooper wires for the DSL service. So despite the amazing claims of high-speed Internet that DSL claims, its probably not going to be available in your area for you to have access to. On the other hand, satellite Internet is available almost everywhere in the world and offers users speeds that rival that of DSL's.

Second, cable Internet is the one of the biggest pains in the world to install and set up. Calling and waiting for hours on end for the cable person to come during their appointment time and then put up the hideous cable box can see like it takes forever. And once the cable person gets to your home, the long set up process leaves unsightly wires all over your house and a huge cable box that is often not easily concealed. Cable technicians are far from interior decorators, so the cable wires that they drag all over your homes do not look like they belong in the picture perfect Martha Stewart home of your dreams. And if a Martha Stewart home isn't in your dreams, the home that is probably doesn't have cable wires running up and down the floorboards. Conversely, satellite Internet only requires a small modem inside your home so there would never be a long in home installation process, nor would there be wires running all along the floorboards and walls.

So in short, if you want to avoid being deceived and ruining your home with meters and meters of cable wire and still want to have the high speeds that broadband can offer in your home, your best bet is to go with satellite Internet.
