I was having a conversation with someone the other day who said that making money from blogging sounds all too confusing.
However, I said it was easy to understand its just that some websites make it sound a bit overwhelming.
I decided I would break it down and make it easier for some people to learn.
Firstly, you need to find a niche to write about.
This could be about anything in the world just as long as their will be people interested in it.
Best place to start for ideas is to think of what you are interested in yourself.
Chances are there will be others interested in that too.
Then you need to get your blog set up and this is really easy these days as many platforms will allow you to set up a good looking blog for free.
Once its set up just start writing.
Make the articles interesting and something other people will find useful.
Then you need to start driving traffic to your blog.
Do this by getting your blogs link in as many places as possible.
Similar websites, other blogs, forums and social network sites are a great way to drive people to your website.
Once you have decent traffic coming in its time to start monetizing the blog.
This depends on the actual niche you are involved in but most blogs normally make money from having adverts on the side bars.
You will then get paid every time someone clicks on the ads and this can rack up to a decent amount very quickly.
You could also sell products too and make an affiliate commission.
I hope that has made it sound a bit more simple for some who weren't too sure about his whole thing.
