Great Cheap White Wines That Are Widely Available

I love wines of all types, and try to always have some tasty yet inexpensive whites on hand for opening anytime.
These are also great choices as gifts and to buy when traveling as they are usually easy to find almost anywhere.
First remember that I'm just giving some suggestions that most people enjoy.
Whatever you like is most important.
There is no right or wrong, just personal taste.
That said, most people's taste jives with the following.
New Zealand has great white wines.
The reds can be good too, but it's the whites that shine.
Top on my list are almost any Sauvignon Blanc.
Buy 3 or 4 inexpensive bottles and see which you like best! The chardonnays are also quite nice and economical as well, and give the Rieslings a try too.
They are not as common or popular but they are good! Chile and Argentina have hoards of great wine available inexpensively.
Sometimes I think everything they export is decent.
As in New Zealand, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnays (as well as Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec for red) are top choices.
Italy also has fantastic whites.
Pinot Grigio is my favorite, and there are plenty of bottles around $10 and less that are fantastic.
Expensive does not mean better here! Sometimes it just means they spend more on advertising.
So there you have it, three great regions and their top choices for really good inexpensive white wines you should be able to find almost anywhere.
Of course you should also experiment and see what else you enjoy.
There are lots of tasty inexpensive wines available today, more so than ever before.
