How to Make Fudge Soft Again After it Gets Hard
- 1). Place the hard fudge in a plastic bag.
- 2). Place a piece of bread or a damp paper towel in the bag.
- 3). Seal the bag closed and let the fudge set over night. The fudge will soften as it absorbs the moisture released by the paper towel or bread.
- 1). Slice the fudge into small cubes no larger than 1-by-1 inch. Larger pieces may soften around the edges and remain hard in the center.
- 2). Arrange the fudge on a microwave safe plate. For best results, space the fudge so it is not touching.
- 3). Place the plate of fudge in the microwave. Close the door and press "Time Cook." Press "15" and the "Start" button.
