Bucks Night Party Ideas

If you're a guy about to be married you're sure to want to celebrate the end of "freedom" with a bit of a bucks night party with your male friends.
So do you want to paint the town red or go for a quiet weekend of golf? Here are a few bachelor party ideas and tips for preparation: If you're the best man and you're organising a bucks night party, do check with the groom what he might like to do for his party; your idea of fun might not be the same as his.
If you plan to visit a strip club or involve a strippergram, you might want to check that the bride doesn't mind or there might not be a wedding.
When the two of you discuss what you want to do, bear in mind that the friends you're going invite may not all be in the same financial position.
In other words, before you book that expensive golf resort or city break, do consider the cost.
Of course that doesn't matter if the groom is proposing to treat his friends to his bucks night party.
Many guys choose to just go out on the town and have a few drinks in a bar, night club or karaoke place.
This sort of outing often ends in tears with the groom handcuffed naked to a lamppost or with half his head shaved.
This is a really bad idea if the wedding is imminent as his wife to be is never likely to forgive him or anyone who was with him at the time.
Have bachelor party at someone's house; preferably someone single or with a very understanding wife or girlfriend who is prepared to go and stay elsewhere for the night and who has left a big pile of snacks to help the evening along.
Organise some bar games like poker, dominoes, cribbage or darts.
If anyone has a pool or snooker table, that would be great.
Other bachelor party ideas include a paint-balling session, and outward-bound type day with obstacle courses and other military style exercises, an afternoon at a football or rugby match, a game of golf or a weekend at a golf resort.
If some of the group aren't golfers, you could organise a tournament with all sorts of sports then everyone will be able to play something.
Of course any of these will need to be followed by a pub crawl and something to eat.
If all that sounds a bit tame, try something a bit more adventurous like bungy jumping, abseiling, white water rafting, parasailing or cross-country motorbiking.
