Four Easy Songs for Guitar
Some songs might take you years of practice before you can play even the opening riff, while some are easy enough for beginner with 2 weeks of experience to play with ease.
Here, we will look at some songs that anyone can play as long as he/she has the knowledge of basic chords.
1.
"Horse with No Name" - America This classic guitar song is incredibly easy to play with just two chords repeating throughout.
The chords are Em, and an improvised version of the E chord with the first finger on the second frets of the 6th (E) and 3rd (G) strings.
The rhythm is a bit complex, but you can easily catch it if you listen carefully to the song.
Best part is that there are just these two chords throughout the song, and it sounds wonderful solo without any accompaniments.
2.
"Take it Easy" - The Eagles The Eagles wrote some of the best (and easiest) rock songs, and this feel good classic is no exception.
Utilizing only the most basic of chords, "Take it Easy" sounds great sung solo.
3.
"Heart of Gold" - Neil Young "Heart of Gold" uses only the basic chords, largely G and Em.
It is incredibly easy to play with an easy rhythm.
Of course, you might be able to replicate Neil Young's guitar, but to replicate his voice will be nearly impossible! 4.
"Wish You Were Here" - Pink Floyd "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd has been a favorite among guitarists for several years.
It is extremely easy to play and has one of the most recognizable melodies.
Most people know this song, so playing it in a group is especially fun.
Best of all, the lyrics are quite easy too.
Bonus points if you can figure out the intro.
These four songs should be very easy to pick up even for the most novice of players.
These four are also some of the most popular songs ever, and will definitely impress your friends and family.
