How to Replace the Turn Signal Assembly in a 2003 Dodge Caravan
- 1). Open the hood. Locate the black plastic cover holding the turn signal assembly in place. Remove the screws with a screwdriver. These screws are threaded into plastic, which can easily crack, so use caution when removing them.
- 2). Open the turn signal assembly. Pull out the turn signal bulbs and replace them with new ones.
- 3). Position the assembly back in place and replace the screws.
- 1). Open the rear hatch. Locate the two black plugs behind the turn signal assembly. Gently pry the plugs loose with the blade of a screwdriver. Grip the heads of the plugs with needle-nosed pliers and remove them.
- 2). Swing the turn signal assembly toward you. Locate the two round caps on the back of the lens. Squeeze the tabs on each side of the caps until they release. Pull out the caps--they will have the old bulbs attached. Replace the bulbs and snap the caps back into place.
- 3). Replace the turn signal assembly and press the two plugs back into place to lock the assembly into position.
