- 1). Disconnect the dryer from its electrical outlet.
- 2). Loosen the band clamp on the dryer vent with a screwdriver and then pull the vent hose off the vent.
- 3). Remove the screws that secure the back cover onto the dryer and then place the cover to the side.
- 4). Locate the bolts that secure the control panel to the back of the dryer. Remove the bolts with a wrench. Lift the control panel off the dryer.
- 5). Disconnect the wiring harness for the panel and then place the panel to the side.
- 6). Locate the bolts that secure the top of the dryer to the sides. You will locate a bolt on the backside of the top, where the back connects to the sides. Remove the bolts with a wrench.
- 7). Lift the top up and pull it back to release the top of the dryer from the front panel. Place the top off to the side.
- 8). Locate the bolts that secure the front panel to the side panels. You must look down into the dryer where the top was. Remove the bolts.
- 9). Open the door to the dryer and locate the bolts around the hole in the front panel of the dryer. Remove the bolts with the wrench and then pull the front panel away from the washing machine.
