- 1). Click the "Start" button, then the "Control Panel" icon.
- 2). Click the "System" option, then the "Automatic Updates" button.
- 3). Click the "On" button on the "Automatic Updates" menu.
- 4). Click the "Check for updates" option and wait for the scan to complete.
- 5). Click the "Internet Explorer 6 Express Install" option in the menu that appears.
- 6). Click the "Install" option at the bottom of the window.
- 7). Wait for the software to install on your computer. This should take about 15 seconds. The window will close when the update has been installed.
