How to Winterize Coleman Fleetwood Folding Trailers
- 1). Remove all water from holding tanks by opening all drain valves. Remove exterior access panel to access the hot water heater. Locate drain valve on hot water heater and turn counterclockwise to open valve and drain all water from the tank.
- 2). Close all drain valves after water is drained. Pour two gallons of RV anti-freeze into fresh-water holding tank. Fill tanks with the correct amount of water to mix anti-freeze according to the instructions on the container. Use anti-freeze container to correctly measure the water added.
- 3). Run water through system using internal water pump. Run the anti-freeze and water mixture until the pink solution is seen flowing from each sink faucet as well as tub faucet by opening the hot and cold valves. Run just enough of the mixture to fill the trap in the tub and sinks to prevent the drain lines from freezing.
- 4). Remove all traces of food by thoroughly vacuuming the inside of the folding trailer, including mattresses and curtains. Place moisture-absorbent product in the middle of the camper to remove moisture caused by condensation. Close folding camper for the winter.
