Birthday Party Games - Add Extra Fun to Your Child"s Day

Children's birthday parties are never complete or really successful without having some birthday party games.
These can be held indoors or outdoors, depending on the climate and place where the party is held.
Any games that are to be included in the party should be thought of carefully, taking into consideration the ages of the children.
All preparations should be made before the day of the party.
Outdoor Games Providing there is sufficient space in your yard or garden, it is easier to arrange outdoor games where children are free to run around and have fun.
A very exciting game is to find the treasure hidden in the garden.
This can be done in a simple way or more elaborately if you have a large garden where you can lay a trail of clues leading to other clues which finally leads them to the place where the treasure is hidden.
It takes a lot ingenuity on the part of the adults who plan the game.
However, it cannot only be great fun, but also can act as a brain teaser for the kids.
Another such game is "hide and Seek" where one person gets to hide while the others try to find him.
Another exciting game that can be held outdoors is musical chairs which used to be a favorite of ours when we were young.
Chairs are placed in a row facing alternate directions.
The number of chairs placed is exactly one less than the number of children taking part in the game.
When the music starts, the children run round the line of chairs and the moment the music stops, they sit in the chair closest to them.
There will be one child who does not get to sit and that puts him or her out of the game.
It goes on until the last child who manages to get the last chair becomes the winner.
A lot of excitement is generated through this game and it is very popular with children.
Indoor Games An indoor version of musical chairs is passing the parcel with all the children sitting in a circle.
The child who has the parcel has to remove a wrapping where there will be some sort of instruction like singing sing a song, making a funny face, or kneeling in front of the person she likes best, etc.
The parcel is continually passed around again and again with many layers being unwrapped.
The winner becomes the one who gets the unwrapped parcel into her hands at the end and it could be anything from a box of chocolates to a book or game or anything suitable for a child.
With a little bit of thought and much creativity you can plan on having some very exciting birthday party games both indoors and outdoors, keeping everyone happy and entertained.
One thing you have to look out for is signs of boredom.
If you see it on the faces of the little ones or if you feel they are getting impatient and restless, then it is time to change the game immediately and go on to something else.
Therefore you must have a few extra games ready, just in case.
The most important aspect of kids party planning is to ensure that the children enjoy it.
Having plenty of birthday party games will be one way of making sure that the children have a great time.
