More about Andrew Giuliani:

An aspiring professional golfer, Andrew Giuliani returned to the Golf Channel for a second go-round on Big Break Dominican Republic.

Giuliani previously appeared on Big Break Disney, and was eliminated in the eighth episode during that season.

But not long after taping that series, Giuliani, in August 2009, won his first professional tournament. Giuliani won the Met Open Championship, one of the longest-running regional tournaments in America.

"I have reassured myself that I can reach my goals," Giuliani said of that experience. "Winning my first professional tournament and having a bunch of top-five finishes proves to me even when you're not playing your best that you can compete with the best players in the world and beat the best players in the world."

The Golf Channel notes that Giuliani was originally uninterested in appearing on The Big Break, but "traveling the Gateway Tour with Jamie Miller (son of two-time former Big Breaker, Cindy Miller) gave him a glimpse into The Big Break experience. A discussion with Cindy Miller about her experiences on the Big Break changed his mind and convinced him it would be a great experience and test for his game."

Giuliani is a huge fan of New York sports teams and loves competition - which he finds in golf.

"Golf is amazing," Giuliani said. "I have been able to find so much solitude in it. I love competing, not just against other players, but against the golf course and myself. You really find out what you are made of."
