A Guide to Parking at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport

With more than 30,000 public parking spaces, 10,000 of which are in covered decks, parking is a breeze at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Aiport (ATL). Parking is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and all lots accept cash and all major Credit Cards: VISA, MasterCard, Amex and Discover.   • Hourly Parking: This is your best bet if you’re dropping someone off or picking someone up as the lots are located directly in front of each terminal. There is also a 160-spot free cell phone lots where you can wait for no charge. These are located along South Terminal Parkway at the east end of the Park-Ride Reserve lot. Rates: $2 per hour (first 2 hours); $3 per hour for the next 4 hours hours; $32 for 6-24 hours; $36 per day (each additional day).
  • Daily Parking: Travelers seeking the closest overnight, covered parking will want to park in "Daily Parking", which is also directly across from each terminal and has four levels. Rates: $3 per hour; $16 per day.
  • Economy Parking: If you want to park at the airport, but save a bit of money and don’t mind not having a cover over your car, “Economy Parking” is for you. The lots are located adjacent to the parking decks. There’s also a West Economy lot located at the West end of the terminal beyond the Ground Transportation Center area. This lot serves both terminals. Rates: $3 per hour; $12 per day.


  • Park Ride Lot: This off-site lot offers complimentary shuttle service to both the North and South Terminals. Upon returning to Atlanta, arriving passengers are picked up at the Ground Transportation Center and returned to their vehicle. Rates: $3 per hour; $9 per day.
  • International Hourly: The hourly parking deck, which is just steps from check-in and arrivals, offers more than 1,100 parking spaces and features 14 close-in parking spaces for alternative fuel vehicles and 14 parking spaces for vanpools and carpools. Rates: $2 per hour (first 2 hours); $3 per hour for the next 4 hours hours; $32 for 6-24 hours; $36 per day (each additional day).
  • International Park-Ride: This new facility on Maynard H. Jackson Jr. Boulevard offers 2,600 parking spaces and requires just a a three-minute ride on a complimentary shuttle bus to the international terminal's curbside drop-off area. Rates: $3 per hour; $12 per day.

There following parking programs are also available for those looking for guaranteed parking spots every time they travel:
  • Gold Parker Program,Reserve Lot: Skip the ticket line and head to this reserved lot if you want a guaranteed covered parking space adjacent to both parking decks. Find out more about how this program works hereRates: $3 per hour; $30 per day maximum.
  • Park-Ride Reserve Lot: This on-airport, members-only parking lot is located on South Terminal Parkway, so you’ll have to take a complimentary shuttle service to your terminal. Find out more about how this program works here.  Rates: $3 per hour; $12 per day maximum.
