Regardless of where you go today, you can find a hint or two of British food influence in what you are ordering.
Many countries have adopted some form of food offerings from England and surrounding areas and have added them to their own dishes that are being served.
People from all over the world are familiar with some of the dishes that the British offer.
Dishes such as Shepherd's pie or take away foods like fish and chips have brought people closer to the British food scene than they actually knew.
From the shores of Sicily Italy to the forests of France, the influence of this food is seemingly everywhere.
This can be a case of enjoying specific foods in homes, or it can be a case of dining at fine restaurants.
Warm Foods For Cold Nights If there is one thing the British did without complaint, it was to create hearty heavy foods that kept you warm on cold wet nights.

Much of what is eaten today in some form or another has direct relation to what was eaten many generations ago.
