What a great cruise! We even skirted a hurricane. The crew was so amicable. The ship and rooms were clean and always kept clean. Colin our cruise director was so awesome that we are having Colin withdrawls! We traveled with 3 other famlies - 8 adults and 9 children ages 9 - 17.
We all had a blast. We could be together when we wanted, which was most of the time, but there was always a chance for down time if we wanted that. We all looked forward to our daily Bing games! Don't miss the shows they are fantastic. Spinnaker lounge after 11:00 was always hopping!
We took advantage of a spa special which was a real treat. We had a room with a balcony and two chairs - that was so nice. My girls loved the little towel designs that were left each night. The food was scrumptuous - yes we all gained weight. That could also be due to the wonderful fun drinks we had. Never did get a lounge chair by the pool on the two at sea days. People would claim them, then leave but put stuff on them to save them. All in all it was an unbelievable fun time. So glad I wore the patch because we did hit some rough patches but we were fine. We were better than fine! This was a major investment for my family but maybe in a couple years we can try another one. First we're looking for Colin! next we'll see if the Dawn is available.
