- 1). Select the main color you want to paint the walls of the bedroom. Using black will darken a bedroom that has several windows while the yellow-gold color will brighten a room that tends to have low light. To play it safe, you can paint the majority of the walls white and use the other Steelers' colors as accents in the room.
- 2). Paint all the walls of the room the same color to make a uniform look. Alternatively, paint only one or two of the walls with one color and leave the others a different color. For example, make three of the walls gold and one wall black. Allow plenty of time for any fresh paint to dry.
- 3). Paint over the trim of the room including the baseboards, window and door trim, and any crown molding in a contrasting color. If you painted the walls black, then gold trim will show Steelers spirit best.
- 4). Add in details at the top borders of the walls or create patterns along the walls using the yellow, blue, and red diamonds from the Steelers' logo by painting them in by hand or using a stencil. You can stagger the diamonds throughout the room or cluster them together in a circle, which is how the team logo has them arranged.
