Games For Children Parties
No matter which part of the world you live in, the one thing that would be common in all children would be their passion for games.
Most children love outdoor games, but indoor games are also very popular with them.
You cannot plan a children party without arranging a number of games for them, according to their ages.
Making your party real fun is not easy.
You have to match your creativity and energy to the imagination of your children and their love for games, respectively.
Following are a few ideas of games for a children party.
Musical chair is perhaps the most common and most enjoyable game for children.
All you need is a few chairs, one less than the number of players, arranged in a row facing opposite directions, and some music.
The music is played for a while and then stopped.
Everyone sits on the first available chair, and whoever keeps standing shall leave the game.
Musical chair has such magic and fun that kids want to play this game over and over again.
Children of different ages can participate in this game.
Another thrilling game is treasure hunt.
You need to prepare clues for the hidden treasures in an interesting manner, and the kids will hunt for the treasure by looking for clues from one place to another.
This game is played by older children, who can understand the clues in order to find the treasure.
Since children love to run around, why not let them play a game like a relay race? They will definitely love to race with their friends, and the winners can get small prizes like toys, chocolates etc.
Dodge-the-ball is also famous among children.
The main player will start by throwing a soft ball on one of the participants.
That participant is supposed to dodge the ball and catch it.
If he gets hit by the ball, he will have to leave the game; otherwise, he can aim the ball at another player, who in turn is supposed to dodge it.
This game will continue until one last player is left and he shall be declared the winner.
Children can also play guessing games, in which one player tries to explain something in sign language and the rest of them are supposed to guess that thing.
Whoever guesses correctly receives a prize.
Another idea for a guessing game is to fill up a jar with candies and ask each child to guess how many candies are there in the jar.
Each child should write the number of candies on a piece of paper with his/her name.
Whoever guesses the right number, or comes closest to the exact number of candies shall be the winner of that jar of candies.
Older children can play board games like Monopoly, Scrabble, Carom board or Chess.
Having games in children parties will add fun and excitement for everyone, and your child will definitely be proud of the effort that you have put in to make it so special.
