    • 1). Locate the air filter. It's behind the firewall, on the passenger side of the engine bay.

    • 2). Unscrew the single visible screw on the cabin air filter housing.

    • 3). Pull out the filter lid.

    • 4). Lift the exposed portion of the filter up and pull it out at an angle, removing it from the housing.

    • 5). Use your flashlight to examine the filter housing. Remove any debris that may have come loose into the blower duct during the removal of the filter.

    • 6). Insert the new filter, making sure it fits securely into the housing.

    • 7). Replace the filter lid.

    • 8). Tighten the screw you loosened in Step 2 back into place.
