How to Use Pay Dirt Soil Amendment
- 1). Dig into the soil with a shovel or a pitchfork, at least 6 inches, turning the soil as you work and crushing any large clods of dirt. Remove any roots, rocks or other debris that you find.
- 2). Add a 3-inch to 4-inch layer of Paydirt and mix it in well with the existing topsoil.
- 3). Add other amendments as desired to adjust the pH of the soil for your choice of plants or to further aerate the soil. Level the soil with the pitchfork or a rake.
- 4). Water the area well and allow it to drain. Your garden is now ready for planting.
