    • 1). Unplug the electronics wiring going into the mirror by gently pulling at base of the harness they are attached to. Remove the mirror base by unfastening the small screws with the Phillips screwdriver. Gently pull the entire base off with your fingers and run the razor along the edge while you pull. Scrape any excess adhesive off the glass using the razor.

    • 2). Place a piece of making tape on the outside of the windshield glass at the spot of the removed mirror as a reference point. Wipe the spot of attachment clean and dry with a rag and remove the new mirror and adhesive glue from the box.

    • 3). Wipe the base of the new mirror clean with the rag. Open the adhesive glue and place 6 to 10 drops evenly over the surface of the mirror base. Press and hold the mirror to the place on the windshield where you placed the masking tape. Hold it in place for at least one full minute. Holding it longer may help form a stronger bond.

    • 4). Reattach the screws in the base and plug the electronic wiring back in.
