Player Interactive Sequences

• During "The DaVinci Code" you will come across numerous sequences that require you to interact with the action that is happening. At these moments you have to press specific buttons or move the analog joystick in the right direction. Failing to do so at the right time will cause you to lose and have to replay the section. The button and motion instructions appear on the bottom of the screen so watch closely to see exactly what you must do.
  
  

Stealth Movement

• Stealth movement gives you the ability to sneak up on opponents or avoid detection when necessary. To move your character while in stealth mode, press and hold the L1 button then use the analog joystick to move in the desired direction. While moving in stealth mode you can use a variety of actions. For example, pressing the R1 button will cause you to trick your opponents with a noise distraction technique. While your opponent is distracted in the other direction, you can move up behind her for an ambush attack. If you can sneak close enough to an opponent, press the Square button to initiate the one-hit kill maneuver.
  
  

Combat

• If an opponent discovers you before you can take him down with a one-hit kill, you should engage that person in a fight. During a fight you have two options: press the Square button to attack or the R1 button to try to run away. If either you or your opponent connects with an attack the struggle mode begins. During the struggle, pressing the Square button at the right moment causes you to attack again. Use the analog stick to push your opponent away. Pressing the X button repeatedly causes your character to throw his opponent. During defense mode your opponent will attack. You have to press the buttons that appear at the bottom of the screen in the right order to avoid the attacks.
  
  

Cheat Codes

• "The DaVinci Code" has a number of cheat codes that give you an advantage from the very beginning of the game. Select the "Options" menu while on the title screen and access the "Cheats" sub menu. Enter the code "Sacred Feminine" to double your health bar. Use the code "Royal Holloway" to give your character a one-hit weapon kill. Enter the code "Clos Luce 1519" to unlock the level select menu. Use the code "Phillips Exeter" to allow your character to have a one-hit kill ability at all times.
