- 1). Go to picnik.com and click the "Start Picniking" link at the upper right corner of the front page. The online application loads after a few moments.
- 2). Click the "Library" tab on the upper left side of the page. Go to the "Webcam Photo" tab.
- 3). Click the "Allow" radio button on the "Adobe Flash Player Settings" dialog box. This gives the app permission to access the video feed on your computer's webcam. Also, check the box for the "Remember" option so you don't have to repeat this process in the future. When done, click the "Close" button.
- 4). Pose for the webcam and click the "Take Photo" button when ready to snap the picture. The video feed freezes on the screen with the image. If you like what you see, then click the "Keep Photo" button; otherwise "Try Again" to make another attempt.
- 5). Edit the photo with the Picnik effects, filters and other tools to get the photo as you wish. When you're done editing, click the "Save & Share" tab at the top of the page. On the next screen, adjust the file settings, and then click the "Save Photo" button.
