- 1). Visit the download page for the Microsoft XPS Viewer using the link in the Resources section of this article.
- 2). Click "Download the Microsoft XPS Viewer" and save the file to the location of your choice. Install the program after it has finished downloading. Note that the Microsoft .NET Framework is required by the XPS Viewer. It will be downloaded automatically by the XPS Viewer installation software if you do not have it.
- 3). Restart your computer.
- 4). Double-click the XPS file after the computer reboots. It will open in the XPS Viewer.
