Review of Twilight Eclipse
In the early part of the movie, all you see are flashes of her.
Why did Howard even bother to pick up the role? Kristin Stewart wanting to be a vampire Wait a minute, wasn't this covered in the previous movie? Yes, she wants to be immortal, no, Edward doesn't.
The only thing new was Rosalie explaining to the clueless Bella how she became one.
It was mildly interesting but ultimately fruitless side story.
To be fair though, if you thought immortality was highly appealing, just listen out to Rosalie and Jasper's back story.
Seriously, you have to think about the heavy price to pay.
I thought Rosalie ended well with her point about how powerful the bloodlust can be.
Dr Carlisle Cullen His fatherly demeanour is always a pleasure to watch.
He is almost like the calm man you want to be.
I mean, this vampire has practically reached nirvana for what he is doing now.
Not only does he not have any reaction to blood, he can even do his work as a doctor.
How powerful is that.
Jasper Jasper has had a sudden turnaround from the last movie.
Initially he was the newest member and almost killed Bella when he couldn't control his reaction to Bella's paper cut.
Now the producers have seen fit to broaden his character and now he is one of the important members of the Cullen cove.
But I must say that his back story was an interesting diversion.
Yes, it does set the stage for the engagement with the newborns.
The Volturi The female vampire played by Dakota Fanning is way too powerful.
Imagine you being able to control other vampires with just a thought.
You really can't beat that group, not even with Bella immunity powers, which was proven in New Moon.
