- 1). Go to the second floor of the Jublife TV Center. Talk to the male reporter and answer the interview with the following phrase: "Everyone Happy Wi-Fi Connection." Save your game and set up your Wi-Fi Connection from the Main Menu of "Pokemon Diamond."
- 2). Select "Mystery Gift" on the Main Menu. Choose the third option, which is "Get Via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection." If Nintendo is offering Oak's Letter via Wi-Fi, select "Yes" to download the item to your game. Go to any PokeMart and talk to the Delivery Man to pick up the item.
- 3). Have a Fire, Ice, Poison, Flying or Bug-type Pokemon in your group. This Pokemon should be around level 30. Purchase 30 to 50 Ultra Balls from the PokeMart. Travel to Route 224, which is east of Victory Road. You will see Professor Oak.
- 4). Tell Professor Oak what you are most thankful for after your long journey as a Pokemon Trainer. He will engrave the message into a stone on that route. The screen will turn white and the barren area will become filled with flowers. Shaymin will appear and run off as soon as he sees you and Professor Oak.
- 5). Follow the Shaymin through Seabreak Path and onto Flower Paradise. Stand in front of Shaymin and save your game. Press "A" to battle Shaymin. Weaken the Shaymin with Fire, Ice, Poison, Flying or Bug-type moves. Go to the "Pokeballs" section of your Bag and throw Ultra Balls at the Shaymin until you catch it.
