Start out by cutting a cup from an empty egg carton and then use these suggestions to turn it into an animal nose you can wear. Make a simple cat or dog nose, and then get more creative by using more than one egg carton cup.

Materials Needed:
- Egg Carton
- 1/4-inch Wide Elastic
- Miscellaneous Embellishment Items - (see instructions)
- Masking Tape
- Craft Glue
- Scissors
Instructions:
Start out by cutting one cup section from your egg carton. Cut a piece of elastic long enough to fit around your head plus about 6-inches. Use the point of the scissors and poke two holes, directly across from each other, towards the open end on the sides of the egg carton cup. String one end of the elastic into each hole, from the outside in. Tie a knot in each end to secure. Try on your disguise nose, over your real nose, to make sure the elastic fits. Adjust it as needed. Once it fits securely, you can tape the ends to make sure they stay in place.
Now, you can use whatever supplies you have on hand to make your egg carton cup look like an animal's snout. You can either paint it or cover it with felt, fabric, or paper. A pom-pom makes a perfect nose on the snout, and you can use yarn, string, chenille stems, or even paint or a marker to make a mouth.
Don't forget other details like whiskers or freckles.
