    • 1). Make sure the cord is plugged into a 3-prong outlet, and do not use an extension cord.

    • 2). Check the household circuit breaker or Ground Fault Circuit Interrupt (GFCI). If they were tripped, reset the fuse the washer is set on, and replace it if necessary. Consult an electrician if this problem continues.

    • 3). Check household faucets to see if the hot and cold water faucets are completely open. They must be open for the washer to completely fill. Also both must be connected to the washer (and turned on). The washer will not operate properly with only one source of water.

    • 4). Straighten out the water hose, and check the inlet valve screens on the washer to make sure they aren't clogged. Turn the water off first, and remove the inlet hose from the washer. Check for any particles before reinstalling the hose.

    • 5). Shut the washer door completely (firmly). The door is not shut completely unless the latch is hooked.

    • 6). Check the display window. If the code "CL" displays, press and hold the "Cycle Signal" button for three seconds. This will turn off the Control Locked feature.
