How to Deal with Arrogant MBA Students

1). Talk to the person working on his MBA. Tell him that while you are proud of him for getting his education, his arrogance is getting offensive. Explain to him that you already know that he is capable of doing well and that he doesn't need to brag. It is important to remain calm and be constructive in your criticism. He will be more likely to be receptive if he knows that you are not trying to insult him.
2). Offer to tell him about things that you are involved with, such as school or work. By doing this you can show him that the world doesn't revolve around him and that you trust talking to him about your life.
3). Concentrate on the different things going on in your own life. This will take your mind off his arrogance, and it will also remind you that the things you are doing are important, too.
4). Ignore him if his arrogance does not stop. It is best to not be around people who are offensive. If you show him that you will not be around him if he continues to act this way, he may eventually get the picture.
