Constant use will not wear ragged the fabric of friendship.
Today's Inspiring Thought: Make Use of Your Friendships
Don't confuse the advice of "making use of" your friendships with "using" your friendships. In the first one, you're making an effort to spend time with a friend, learning about your friend, allowing that person to make a difference in your life, and living the friendship to the fullest.
In the second example, you're using a friend for what they can give you. (Which isn't being a friend at all.)Â Making use of your friendships will help you get through the stress of life and make you a healthier person. Recent studies have shown that having good friends in your life is as important to your health as exercise is.Â
