- 1). Raise the hood. At the rear of the headlight locate a 5 mm nut below a "Lock/Unlock" symbol. Remove the nut with a socket wrench with an extender attached.
- 2). Push down on the 1-inch metal safety lever behind the headlight assembly; it has an "X" stamped on it. Hold the headlight from the front to prevent it from falling out of the housing.
- 3). Remove the wiring connector from the back of the headlight by pulling it out and back. Pull the headlight from its housing and out of the car.
