Most grooms if we are honest just want the day to go well with absolutely no hiccups, after all a good wedding is the start of a long and happy relationship.
To get your perfect day the key is planning, for many this is all part of the built up but for some it may seem like a chore that they would rather leave to someone else so they can just enjoy their day.
No matter who does the planning the key to good planning is making sure that you have plenty of time.
When I mean plenty of time many wedding days are planned years in advance, believe me if you leave it to the last minute you will not get the wedding that you want.
Our wedding took over a year to plan, not that we spent every day planning it but there are aspects of the wedding day that need to be organised well in advance.
You just try and find a location for your reception at the last minute, its impossible unless you have money to burn.
So your plan should start with a large notepad where you can write down everything that you need to organise.
You will need to write down contact information, contact names, prices, times and dates.
Keeping a record of everything in one place will save you loads of time and stress.
Imagine forgetting to pay the deposit for your chosen venue only to find out later that your date has been taken.
Avoiding these types of situation is all about planning and organising.
Now it may seem that all this planning and organisation is going to be stressful and a chore.
In fact having everything written down at the start not only makes it easier to do everything it also is a great way of spotting the little details that you may have forgotten, what about the wedding cake stand for the wedding cake? Having a list of everything that needs to get sorted means that you can break things down into smaller more manageable tasks.
This means that you can also keep a clear record of what has been done and what needs to be done when.
It makes it so easy even a potential husband could follow the instructions.
