    Using Windows Live Mesh

    • 1). Go to the Windows Live website and download Windows Live Mesh (see Resources). Start the installation program, then click "Choose the programs you want to install." Select "Windows Live Mesh" and click "Install."

    • 2). Click the "Start" button. Type "Live Mesh" in the Start Search box, then select "Windows Live Mesh" from the list of programs.

    • 3). Click "Sync a folder." Select the folder you'd like to upload to SkyDrive, then click "Sync." Choose "SkyDrive synced storage," then click "OK."

    • 4). Navigate to devices.live.com, then click "SkyDrive Synced Storage" to access the files you've uploaded.

    Uploading to SkyDrive Online

    • 1). Log in to the Windows Live Skydrive website (see Resources) with your Windows Live ID. Click "Add files."

    • 2). Select a folder, or click "New Folder" to create another folder. Type a name for your new folder and click "Next." Check the files you'd like to upload to ensure they're 50 MB or smaller.

    • 3). Select a file to upload. Hold down "Ctrl" and click to select multiple files. Click and drag the files into the window to add them to the upload queue. Wait for the green bars to fill completely and disappear. Click "Continue."
