Look Your Best Using Your Mirror

By the end of the year, I start hearing people make their new year's resolution and guess what's the most common one I hear? You got it, they want to lose weight.
Find out why I don't totally agree.
Losing weight I don't blame people for thinking this since the media talks about losing weight all the time.
I know people that are going to the gym all the time and they then ask me why they are putting on weight especially since they are putting in so much effort.
I then tell them that they look a whole lot better to me.
This normally stops them in their tracks as they stop to think.
The reason is simple really.
As we're all working out, we are actually packing on muscle.
Muscle when compared to fat size for size weighs around double.
Putting on muscle is good as it also boosts your metabolism which makes your body burn fat.
The weight is not something we should be concern about, it's the fat.
In fact, when you start your workout, you're most likely going to weigh more than you did before, but does it matter? No, it shouldn't.
What matters is that you feel great and that your pants are actually more lose or you can go down 1 dress size or 2.
Judge yourself by how you look in the mirror and not by your weight.
The weighing machine really tells us very little unless you get the electronic kind that can also tell you your body fat percentage.
Remember, your reflection in the mirror doesn't lie.
