Kenmore Elite 7755 Troubleshooting
- 1). Press the "Stop" button on the control panel if the range is beeping and displaying an "F" code. Set your oven to the desired temperature, if you want to use it, after you have cleared the code and beeping noise.
- 2). Clean the burner port with a needle if you cannot get a burner to light or if the flame only goes halfway around the burner. If it is clogged, it will not light or fully light. Turn the control knob all the way over to "Lite" to get the burner to ignite, and then you can select the flame size.
- 3). Press the power cord securely in the outlet if you have an electronic ignition model. With this model, the range will not operate if it is not securely plugged into the outlet.
- 4). Place a level on the oven rack and adjust the legs as necessary to get the range level. If your range is not level, you can end up with lopsided items when you bake.
- 5). Check the circuit breakers to see if you have tripped one. If the range will not operate, this could be the problem.
- 6). Move your food lower in the oven if it is smoking during broiling. Having food too close to the broiler can result in excessive smoking. Make sure you leave the oven door cracked open when broiling to prevent smoking.
- 7). Call 800-469-4663 for an authorized service technician if you are still having problems with your range.
