4 Things to Look for in a Home Based Job Listing
With the plethora of job listings available online, it is hard to choose which ones offer real and legitimate home based jobs.
Here are some of the things you should be looking for in a job listing: 1.
Introduction It's always comforting to know where the job listing is coming from.
When I'm looking for a job listing, I always check the company or the individual who posted the listing.
It is an advantage to know this because you can do a background check.
Simply type the name of the company in Google or any other search engine and find out if there are any complaints or scams related to the company.
Example of a good introduction: Company X is in need of a quality virtual assistant for a number of data entry, clerical, and procedural tasks.
2.
Job Description Most of the time, this is the part of the listing that I always check first.
I want to know whether I can do the tasks related to the job.
I also want to know if the compensation is worth it.
Example of a good job description: Full time individual required for article writing, posting on blogs, sales copy for various topics.
3.
Qualifications Each job requires different specialties and qualifications.
But more than anything else, you must first have the ability to communicate very well in English.
That is always the main thing that an employer is looking for.
Example of a good qualification: You must have outstanding English Verbal and Written skills.
The ideal candidate will be able to close the deals via email and via SKYPE, if necessary.
4.
Compensation This is the part where I'm excited the most.
Seeing the compensation part of the job listing can either be an exciting or disappointing experience.
Sometimes you may find jobs that you think you'll be highly qualified for only to realize that the pay isn't what you actually have in mind.
Don't give up so easily when you find low paying jobs.
You always have to start at square one.
Start with something that you can do part time and gain some more experience so you can negotiate a better compensation.
Example of a good compensation: Salary: $450/Month + Bonuses If you find these things in a job listing, it is easier to make an informed decision.
You will be more confident to submit your resume and to apply for the position.
If there are other information that you are looking for, take note of them, so once you get to the interview, you will have the chance to ask them.
