- 1). Launch your Web browser, which might be Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.
- 2). Visit the website in which SquirrelMail is installed and log into it with your user name and password.
- 3). Click on "Options" and select "Folder Preferences." Change the "Auto Refresh Folder List" option to "30 Seconds," then click on "Submit" to save the settings. This will check for new emails every 30 seconds. You can select another amount of time, if you want.
