I think this applies to losing weight, for one, after reading complicated techniques, it will only confuse the mind or it becomes so difficult to implement that you will give up in no time.
Below are simple ways which you can do right away and make it a habit.

  1. Say No to soft drinks - give away all the cokes in your fridge and any other can drinks that you have there.

    The trick is not to do it drastically else you may rebel.

    Yeah, I know you grow up with potato chips and what's a movie or good TV program without those.
    It's important that you keep your mouth busy, that's why you need substitute.
    I'd say having fruits or vegetables or nuts will be a great fit.
  4. Stand up and do walking on the spot when watching tv or if you have a treadmill and gym bicycle, it's time to move them over to the living room and move your sofa out.
    Instead on watching the soap opera on your sofa, do some walking or exercising.
    In no time you'll be burning fat and without realizing it you are losing weight.
  5. Can you spare 10 minutes for walking? Just add 10 minutes of evening walk and 10 minutes of morning walk around the block.

    You have to build consistency.
    One of the top reasons why people fail in losing weight is because they set very high goals like from nothing to jogging 2 hours a day.
