How to Clean Blackout Fabric
- 1). Clean fabric on the rod with a feather duster.
- 2). Stretch out the fabric on the rod.
- 3). Sweep the duster back and forth in small strokes with your brush. Start at the top of the curtain and work downward.
- 4). Lay fabric on a table. Use a soft cheesecloth to wipe the dust from the blackout fabric.
- 5). Use a vacuum cleaner for an even deeper dusting. Attach the soft bristle attachment to the vacuum.
- 6). Suction the fabric working from top to bottom in strips.
- 1). Add a few drops of liquid dish detergent to a small bowl of warm water.
- 2). Dip your cloth into the water. Wring the water out of the cloth.
- 3). Blot up any stains by tapping the damp cloth on the spot.
