How to Catch Haracross in "Pokemon Crystal"

1). Pick up TM02, which contains Headbutt, in the Ilex Forest, or purchase it from the Goldenrod Department Store. Teach Headbutt to a Pokemon in your party.
2). Head to Route 33, 42, or 44, or go to Azalea Town. Walk up to a tree and use Headbutt until a Heracross appears and engages you in battle.
3). Lower Heracross' HP into the red zone and inflict it with either Paralysis or Sleep. Throw Great Balls or Ultra Balls at Heracross until it is caught.
