Dendro isotope chemistry is a scientific field that examines trace elements in naturally occurring structures such as trees, corals and fossils to provide knowledge about climatic conditions over a set period of time. This specialized chemistry is an emerging hard science in the environmental and atmospheric disciplines. Research is currently being funded by many countries across the world that are concerned with global warming. - us flag image by Photoeyes from Fotolia.com
