- 1). Double-click "Internet Explorer" or "Mozilla Firefox" icon, whichever browser you use.
- 2). Click "Settings," located on the right side of the AOL toolbar.
- 3). Click "Help" and select "Uninstall Toolbar."
- 4). Click the "X" in the corner of your browser to close it.
- 5). Double-click the Internet desktop icon to open it and make sure the toolbar is not displayed.
- 6). Uninstall the program by clicking "Start" and "Control Panel."
- 7). Select "Programs" or "Programs and Features" and select "Add or Remove Programs."
- 8). Select "AOL Toolbar" and click "Change/Remove" and "Uninstall" to uninstall the toolbar from your computer.
- 9). Click "Start" and "Restart" to reboot your computer.
