Regardless of your reason for using Craigslist, you are likely to either create a posting to appear on the website or send an email to someone as a response.
When doing so, what are some of the most common phrases you should avoid? Phrase: I will touch base with you later Why to avoid it: Are you playing a game of baseball? No.
Are you trying to sound cool? It just isn't working.
You are a normal person, so speak normal.
Instead of using this stupid phrase that is way overused, how about you try "I need a few days to think about it; I will call you then.
" If you are applying for or inquiring about a job, this is a must as you sound professional.
Sounding cool is for a night at the bar trying to pickup dates, but even then this phrase isn't likely to produce good results.
