How to Put a Film on a DS Lite
- 1). Wipe the screen using a soft, lint-free and nonabrasive cloth (such as a lens or eyeglass cleaning cloth) to thoroughly remove any dust and debris. If the screen is gunky or covered in fingerprints, dampen one corner of the cloth with distilled water to clean it. Dry it completely. Distilled water is favorable over tap or mineral water, as it won't leave a residue as it dries.
- 2). Spray the screen with a few quick bursts of compressed air to clear away any dust.
- 3). Remove the plastic cover from the protective film. Starting from one corner with the soft cloth over your fingers, press the film onto the screen evenly, gently pushing out any air pockets as you apply it. Work slowly and take your time to avoid air bubbles.
- 4). Remove the second plastic cover from the protective film if applicable.
- 5). Repeat these steps when applying protective film to the second screen on the Nintendo DS Lite.
