It may not seem like it now but the day will come when you are no longer feeling so powerless over your own fate.

It will just take time and may take more time than you like.
There are things you can do if you are one of many men copying with being dumped around the world that will help you move forward faster if you're interested.
1)    Get out of the house.
I know it's tempting to spend endless hours watching classic sports on television, wearing the same clothes, and ordering takeout whenever hunger hits.
You really do need to get cleaned up and get out of the house.
Go out with the guys.
Hit the clubs.
Start a weekly poker night.
Do something to socialize with others instead of spending so much time alone.
2)    Build a better you.
Visit the gym and get into shape.
Whether you're getting back into shape or going there for the first time ever you'll feel better about taking control of at least that aspect of your life.
Control the things you can.
Accept the things you can't.
3)    Start dating again.
While it may not be a horse, when romance throws you, it's important to get out there and try again.
The first few dates will probably have little to do with romance and more to do with overcoming fears and creating new expectations but they are important.
