Article Writing Tips - How to Become More Productive Part 2
Discipline and dedication are a must.
Nobody said that writing lots of articles on a daily basis is easy.
In fact, it can be both mentally and physically exhausting.
You'll only be able to do this if you're disciplined and if you're committed in reaching your goals.
It will really help if you stick with your writing time.
Do not allow yourself to make excuses.
When tapping on your keyboard, avoid opening your Facebook account and do not chat with your friends.
Just focus on what you're doing.
You can do the rest later.
2.
Motivate yourself.
Telling yourself that writing articles is boring will surely not help.
You need to set your mind in completing your articles and you need to always be reminded of the great rewards that await you.
Think of how much traffic you can send to your website if you write 5-10 articles per day.
Imagine yourself doing European tour after you made lots of sales and profits.
Think about the things that you can buy once you generate steady flow of income.
These should be enough to keep you motivated.
I suggest that you post the "pictures of your dreams" where you write so you can always remind yourself that all your efforts will eventually pay off.
3.
Set and strictly follow your own deadlines.
You'll be able to write more articles if you set a deadline for yourself.
It's important to ensure that you'll be able to do specific number of articles for specific number of minutes or hours.
What I do is I force myself to write at least 5 articles for an hour.
This gives me 20 minutes for each of my article.
Doing this limits me from doing other activities that are not related to writing my articles.
4.
Free your work space and your mind from distraction.
You need to focus on what you're doing in order to easily produce the number of articles that you need.
Start by making sure that your work space is free from distractions.
Lock yourself in your room and tell everybody in your house to not disturb you until you're done.
Then, avoid thinking of things that are not related to what you're doing.
There was a time that I kept on thinking about my recent fight with my neighbor while I was writing my articles and it cost me a lot.
This has kept me from producing a single article.
5.
Reward yourself.
Give yourself more than just a tap on the back.
Each time you're able to meet your goals, treat yourself for a job well done.
Go ahead and see a movie or go to a spa.
You can also have dinner at a fancy restaurant or buy that gadget that you've been eyeing for quite some time.
This is one way to continuously motivate yourself.
